Hearing about her grandfather’s stroke was difficult, but Macey had other things to worry about that she didn’t want to burden Ray with. She had gotten into a lot of trouble in the past couple of years, resulting in her building up a lot of debts she could not pay. Sometimes, to keep her head above water, she would ask Ray for money though she hated to do so.
