Calling For Help
Emma picked up her cellphone and dialed the authorities, not breaking her gaze from the monitors once. The men were still attempting to get into her house and showed no indication that they were going to slow down anytime soon.
She explained what was happening to the operator. The situation was urgent, but he informed her that a dispatcher will take 10 minutes to reach her. She knew she did not have 10 minutes, she needed to do something now.
