Linda grabbed Eric’s sleeve and pulled him closer. “Are you serious?” she asked as she tried to comprehend what she had just heard.
“I’m afraid I am,” Eric whispered.
“I didn’t mean for this to happen… It just did, and then I found out… There’s absolutely no way I can walk away from her. And I don’t think I want to, either.”
