A Living Nightmare
He awoke to screams straight out of a nightmare. He could hear his mother shouting as she banged on the cold door that led to his room.
The commotion roused Shawn from his deep sleep and he rushed out disoriented. With a baseball bat in hand, he raced up the stairs to where his mother pointed.
He was ready to deal with whatever had stepped into their property.
