The two girls were standing and chatting outside the school one day when suddenly some rat-faced boy came up behind them and completely messed up Hannah’s hair. “Ewww, gross!” he shouted and laughed out loud. “Bet you think you look great now, loser!”
What had that been all about? Who would do something like that? Why had the guy been so mean? Hannah tried to hold back the tears, but soon it just hurt too much.
