A Natural Talent
Maria began her career as a hairstylist before graduating from high school. She had a natural talent for making people smile with her appearance, and she could do the same with hairdressing. In her senior year, she began working part-time at her aunt’s salon to earn extra money. She was certain that she wanted to study hairdressing in college. She was unaware of the extent to which it would affect her life.
