Her Story Was Heartbreaking
Maria’s life had not been an easy one either. She had had a difficult upbringing. She had grown up needing to help her mother pay the bills for herself and her three siblings because she had very little money. At such a young age, dropping out of school was a difficult decision. Maria once had goals and dreams, but she had to sacrifice them for her family. Then, things grew more challenging.
