Bending The Truth
Pat had bent the truth just as he had suspected the woman did. She took the napkin off of the table and scrutinized it. But she had no idea how to verify it or not. It would have to do.
But Pat smiled. He had put the name “Graham” and an address he passed by every day. Neither was actually his, and the waitress would never know. Now, would she be satisfied enough to leave?
