Bringing Them to His Parents
He picked up the kids from school and actually brought them to his parents’ house. He gave them the excuse that he had to take care of some grown-up business and that they would have the spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at the grandparents. Luckily, the kids were really happy about this and Michael’s mind could go back to Emily.
