He Was Overjoyed
Brian was overjoyed by his new job offer. He told everyone he knew about it, and they were all elated. The next morning, Brian quit his current job. He had fantasized about quitting for so long, and being able to actually do it was a small but awesome thrill. Everything seemed to be going perfectly for Brian.
