Sharks and Coral Reefs Benefit Each Other
This chart from the Wildlife Conservation Society is not only visually pleasing but it also explains how coral reefs provide food for millions and how sharks contribute to the well-being of the reefs. This is pretty surprising given that sharks get a bad rap for being predators that attack humans. But in reality, sharks ensure that oceans remain healthy and the biggest threats to these creatures are human.
