A Bee’s Busy Life
This guide provides an interesting insight into a bee’s short but very productive 45-day lifespan. It turns out that they are put to work from the day they are born to ensure that the hive is nice and clean. But within a few days, their responsibilities are upgraded to feeding older larvae and eventually the younger larvae. They later move on from that and start guarding the hive before they enter the final phase of their lives and collect pollen and nectar. So, the term busy bee is not an exaggeration.
