Terrified
Ebony hadn’t noticed how tightly she was gripping her steering wheel until she saw how white her knuckles were becoming. She was terrified. Sweat was dripping down her neck as she looked in the rearview mirror and watched as the cop slowly approached the car.
She kept reminding herself to look normal but she knew the potential trouble she was in. She could not allow herself to panic, but the moment she saw Zimmerman’s face, she knew she wouldn’t be able to talk herself out of it.
