A Call to the Coast Guard
The Kennedy family, who were expecting JFK Jr. to arrive that evening, became increasingly worried. They called the Coast Guard at around 2am to report him missing. At 4am, the Coast Guard began to search for JFK Jr.’s plane. They discovered several pieces of debris from the plane, which made them suspect the plane had been destroyed.
