Prior to boarding the fateful flight, JFK Jr.’s wife Carolyn reportedly told a salesperson at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan that she was “not looking forward” to the flight because her husband had recently removed a cast from his leg. “I don’t know if he’s ready yet to fly again,” Carolyn is quoted as saying.
