A Mystery
The exact cause of the crash remains a mystery, despite an investigation and several theories. It seems most plausible that JFK Jr. struggled with visibility and disorientation, and perhaps didn’t have the necessary piloting experience to death with poor conditions. He never declared an emergency, nor did he request any help at any point during his flight.
