A President Assassinated
President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The funeral was held on JFK Jr.’s third birthday. In a moment that would soon become iconic, the young boy saluted his father’s casket. The image of JFK Jr. saluting his father and president one final time would be called the most impressive shot in the history of television.
