JFK Jr. had a lifelong commitment to charity work and had various roles at several nonprofit organizations. He was the head of one nonprofit group called Reaching Up, which aimed to help workers with disabilities. An executive director of Reaching Up said that JFK Jr. “was always concerned with the working poor, and his family always had an interest in helping them.”
