A New Father
In 1968, Jackie Kennedy remarried. Her new husband, and JFK Jr.’s new stepfather, was the Greek business magnate Aristotle Onassis. Following the marriage, JFK Jr. and his family went to live on their stepfather’s private island off the coast of Greece. But JFK Jr. didn’t take kindly to Onassis, reportedly calling him “a joke.”
