Realizing that he’d need more urgent assistance with the situation, Tim headed to the McCarthys’ old house. He was aware they’d moved away, but he was hoping to find out where to. Luckily, a neighbor could get him in touch.
Their ex-next-door neighbor, a lovely elderly lady, informed Tim that Miles and his dad had moved further north. She wasn’t sure exactly where, but she guessed New York or maybe Pennsylvania. Tim felt dejected.
