Not Friends
This student brought the topic they were working on to life. It’s apparent that they considered both sides of the issue before deciding that they didn’t like what they were being required to do.

How many will you have left if you give me half? “.. Kid turns to face me and says, deadpan, “I’m afraid I won’t be able to offer you the candy. “”You’re not one of my friends””
