The Baby
Three months later, Jonna and David’s first child was born into this world. Jonna was worried that David’s relatives wouldn’t consider her and her kid as “one of them” since she wasn’t Amish.
According to Jonna, her daughter is treated like one of the family’s own. “Three months later our child was born and they love her just like the other little bonnet heads I like to call my adorable nieces and nephews. My daughter learned some Dutch, helps grandma bake bread and knows the names of all of the birds that come to Grandma’s bird feeder.”
