Charlie Chaplin Died in the Same Year that Apple was Founded
Charlie Chaplin was one of the world’s first movie stars, coming to prominence during the silent film era of the 1920s. So, not many people think about how long he lived after sound was introduced to motion pictures. Chaplin died at the age of 88 in 1977, the same year that Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple Computers.
