In the 1970s, drag racing was a high-octane thrill for many people. This lead to the popularity of driver “Jungle Jim” Lieberman, who was assisted by none other than “Jungle Pam” Hardy. She decided against attending college to work on the race track and became a hands-on member of the pit crew, besides being the greatest cheerleader in the sport.
