Even though he knew it was just a mistake, would they believe him? When he offered to help an old lady and her groceries disappeared, it didn’t look good for him.
A hurt expression appeared on his face as he looked at the woman. Was she really convinced that he had done this on purpose? This was absurd, even though homeless people aren’t treated well.
