The Police Arrived
Just a few minutes after the doctor left the room, a police officer walked in to take his place. This was extremely out of the ordinary for a medical checkup and the couple was visibly scared. The police officer gestured to Ricky and told him to follow him. The officer simply said, “Sir, I have some questions for you about your wife.” Ricky wasn’t even sure that he would be able to answer what they asked, but he followed along anyway.
