Jolene even tried to bring up questions about his family on multiple occasions and Ricky maintained his silence then, too. He claimed that his family was out of his life for good, so she shouldn’t waste time worrying about them because he certainly didn’t waste any time doing so. He just wanted to forget about those things and he couldn’t imagine why Jolene would constantly bring it up.
