The Worst That Could Happen
Elvis had no idea what was going on. It was clear to him that Cheryl needed medical attention right away. He called 911 and ran through the house making sure both daughters had everything they needed.
Once he was sure that the girls were all set, he accompanied Cheryl to the hospital. They were going to be babysat by his younger sister. As a result of his worry, he thought of the worst things that could happen.
What if Cheryl didn’t make it? He wouldn’t be able to go on without her.
