Short And Harrowing
It was a short but harrowing drive to the hospital. It took the EMTs a while to get any kind of response from Cheryl. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to determine what had happened.
They kept Elvis on edge by sharing as little information about Cheryl’s condition as possible, only saying she needed to be rushed to the hospital immediately.
Needless to say, Elvis was nauseous with nerves. He hoped and prayed that everything would turn out okay.
