Starting to Chop the Tree
Peter made an effort to chop down the many different species of trees on his land fairly. As for the trees themselves, he picked ones that were far apart from one another and never near the forest’s border. He was averse to drastic alterations to the forest’s appearance. Just “trimming it down,” as he put it.
