My friend’s father passed while we were in college. His girlfriend came to the funeral and got upset that he wasn’t paying enough attention to her.
She pulled him aside and started berating him. He just looked at her and said, “I’m going to go bury my father now. You should leave.” He officially broke up with her the next day.
