I Know How You Feel
My friend’s maternal grandmother passed. She was really close to this grandma. Her paternal grandma is very insensitive and always has to one-up everyone else.
When her paternal grandmother came to the funeral to show “support,” she said to her daughter-in-law, “I know how you feel. I lost my mother too. It’s much harder for me though because she was around much longer than your Mother.”
