Zero Reaction
One woman stood up and recited a poem about the affair she’d had with the deceased. The poem started with a description of their lovemaking. Oh yes, and the wife of the deceased was sitting in the front row. At least one person got up and left in disgust.
Weirdly, though, the wife had zero reaction. To this day, I’m not sure whether she thought the poem was a metaphor for something, or just wasn’t paying attention.
