Improper Moments That Happened at Funerals And Threw Everyone For a Loop

An Unfortunate Reunion

My mom’s funeral took place when I was 28 and after my mom had passed at 56 from cancer after three years. My grade school friend, who had been in and out of lockup and rehab, tried to ask me to hang out and “kick it” sometime while I was greeting guests after the service.

Her mom and my mom were close, and I told her mom to keep her away from me. But she wasn’t finished with me.

Afterward, I was Facebook messaged many times, being called a “miserable witch” and selfish because I didn’t want to talk to her while she was all cracked out on whatever. It was the saddest day of my life. I’m not making plans with a tweaker.
