Top Earner
At my mom’s funeral a couple of years ago, a long-time acquaintance of the family, who was also a top-earning realtor in town, came up to me right before the funeral service and, after offering her condolences, slipped me her business card and asked me to “keep her in mind” when my brother and I got ready to sell my mom’s house.
The card went in the trash and I gave the listing to a new, young, hard-working realtor who was just starting out.
