A herder was immediately terrified to find his donkeys outside in the cold, completely frozen to their cores, but he was thankfully able to bring them inside to warm them back up and get them moving again. Many furry animals can survive for much longer than humans in freezing temperatures because of their thick coats of fur. This is why you shouldn’t worry about putting a winter jacket on most dogs if they’ll only be out in the snow for a little while!
