Scientists discovered that underneath the ice in Antarctica are the Gamburtsev Mountains, and one of its peeks sticks out from the ice. The range has peaks as high as 10,000 feet high and spans an area of about 750 miles. With the help of radar technology, scientists believe that this mountain range was formed approximately 250 million years ago.
