Heron Habitat
It’s hard for us humans to spot heron nests way up in the trees, but thanks to drones we can finally get a good glimpse of these heron homes. These nests are typically made from a combination of large twigs, moss, leaves, and grass. Herons are remarkable birds, able to survive in almost any kind of calm fresh waters, rivers, or shallow coastal bays.
