Rainbow Mountains
These otherworldly mountains in China’s Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park are completely natural and considered a geological marvel. Although it might look like an artist has spent a lot of time painting rocks, in reality the colors are the result of iron and mineral deposits in cretaceous siltstones and sandstones.
