A Row of Craters
This photo depicts a row of craters in a remote part of Iceland, but you’d be forgiven for thinking it was shot on some other planet. The unique fire-red coloring is caused by the lava’s iron minerals. These craters are just a few of the many craters scattered across Iceland. Iceland is one of our planet’s most volcanically active areas.
