Mount Bromo
This epic shot of Mount Bromo reveals the dramatic landscapes of East Java, Indonesia. Mount Bromo is an active volcano that’s part of the Tengger mountains. Although it’s not quite visible in this photograph, there is an idol of Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom, at the mouth of the crater. The name of the mountain, Bromo, comes from Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.
