An Odd Pairing
As Jenna started working at the supermarket, she’d seen many strange characters, and the man didn’t wait for the old woman.
She turned around as the man passed her and grumbled, “Keep up.” Those two words changed her entire perspective on the situation. There was something about his way of speaking to the old woman that didn’t sit well with her. After stopping what she was doing, she turned around. The old woman was in serious trouble, but she wasn’t aware of it at the time.
