Seeing Jenna staring back at her, her watery eyes caught her attention. Despite being caught staring, Jenna didn’t care. She was concerned by what she saw in the woman’s eyes.
There was a large bruise on the old lady’s left eye that was black and blue. She could hardly open it because it was so swollen. However, she quickly looked away after realizing her mistake. Jenna felt a shiver run down her spine. She had underestimated the severity of the situation.
