When they passed her in the back, she was packing one of the shelves. In comparison to the woman with her old cane who trailed behind him, the man was far ahead. A groan escaped his lips. “Keep up,” he said under his breath.
As Jenna stared at the woman who was struggling to keep up with the younger man, she couldn’t help but frown. A small bucket hat concealed her face, preventing her from seeing the woman’s face. Her gut instincts told her something was wrong with the pair.
