The Big Day
In honor of Frances’ 78th birthday, which coincided with the end of the school year, faculty and students agreed to throw a surprise party. On the day, students and faculty welcomed Frances with open arms.
Something unexpected happened as Frances was performing her janitorial duties. She was sent to the cafeteria after her name was proclaimed over the school’s loudspeakers. Frances assumed she would be able to handle whatever came up. That wasn’t the case.
