Job Applicants Who Walked Out of Interviews Share Their Stories

A little unhinged

The interviewer shouted at me. He explained that my day-to-day would be colleagues sending me tickets and I do what they want, to the letter, within a set timeframe. No communication.

I asked politely if there was any room for collaboration or giving input, and he slammed his fists on the desk. “THAT’S NOT HOW WE WORK HERE!” I laughed (I couldn’t help it, it was so unexpected) and told him I don’t think this role is for me.

He sent me a rejection email a week later.
