Taking Action
Although Kurt was afraid, he remained defiant. In response, he insisted that he had no involvement in Melissa’s disappearance and that he was the victim of unfair prosecution by the authorities. In order to get the police off of his back, he had to take some action.
His rights were violated during the investigation, according to the lawsuit he filed against the police department.
