Dropping Him Off
Just as he knew they would, Jacob’s parents agreed to look after his son until he finished work. He dropped him off at their place and sat in his car, fishing out the paper the officer had given him earlier.
His eyebrows pulled into a tight frown as he blindly skimmed through the paper. He was over an hour late for work, he didn’t have the time to wrap his head around the situation and to see what the commotion was about.
