Drop the Subject
We were going inside after a walk around our property when my daughter pointed to the trees on the other side of the fence and said “Mama. Trees hungry” in a deadpan kind of voice.
It was windy and overcast, and the trees are very thick in that spot so they were making all kinds of creepy rustling and creaking noises.
