Sitting in Complete Silence
I was a highschooler and would ride the bus until the elementary school kids got on so that I could walk my little sisters home. They wanted to sit with their friends, and there was this little kid who wasn’t sitting with anyone.
I decided to sit down next to him because his stop was the same as ours. He looked at me and just said, “It’s pretty dark when you die. Dark but loud. Like people yelling at you.”
